Heirloom gives you a modelled estimate of your net worth based on numbers you type in yourself. It is a general information tool, not financial advice, and the figures are projections rather than valuations. Don't make a financial decision on the strength of them alone. You can delete your account and your data at any time.
Heirloom is operated by [YOUR FULL NAME], a sole trader (ABN [ABN]), of Victoria, Australia ("Heirloom", "we", "us"). You can reach us at myheirloom.au@gmail.com.
By using heirloomau.com or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and using Heirloom for your own personal purposes.
Heirloom takes figures you enter (vehicles, cash, savings, property, debts, income, industry and job security) and applies general assumptions to produce an estimate of your position today and a projection of how it might change.
Heirloom is not a financial adviser and does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence. Nothing on the site is personal financial product advice. We do not consider your objectives, financial situation or needs, and nothing we show you takes account of your particular circumstances. We do not recommend any financial product, bank, superannuation fund or investment.
Before acting on anything you see here, consider whether it is appropriate for you and seek advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant or lawyer.
Where we show you how your savings rate compares to the broader market, that is general information to prompt you to check your own arrangements. It is indicative only, is not a live feed, may be out of date, and is not a recommendation of any product or provider. Always check current rates and conditions with the provider before acting.
Don't attempt to break into the service or other people's accounts, scrape or bulk extract data, overload or disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, resell it, or use it to send spam. Our invite feature emails an address you choose from our domain; use it only for people who would welcome hearing from you.
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us permission to store and process it so we can provide the service to you. You can delete your account and its data at any time from My details.
We back the service with reasonable security measures, but no online service is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee that it can never be breached.
We aim to keep Heirloom running but we don't promise it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may add or remove features. Where we can, we'll give you notice of a significant change.
Heirloom is provided free of charge at present. If we introduce paid plans in future, we will publish the price and payment terms before you are asked to pay, and no charge will ever be made without your express agreement.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we provide Heirloom "as is"; we exclude all other warranties; and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from a financial decision you made in reliance on our estimates. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Heirloom uses third-party services to operate, including Google for optional sign-in, Resend for email delivery, and hosting and market data providers. Their handling of data is covered in our Privacy Policy. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we don't control or endorse them.
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for a material change, tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Heirloom after that means you accept the updated terms.
You can stop using Heirloom and delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Sections 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 survive the end of your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
If something has gone wrong, email myheirloom.au@gmail.com and we'll work through it with you. For privacy matters specifically you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
