You tell Lulu about your finances so we can estimate your net worth. We store those answers against your account so you can come back to them. We don't sell your data, and we never see your bank logins because we never ask for them.
Heirloom ("we", "us") provides a net worth estimate and a tracker for your assets and important documents. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@heirloom.example.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and email address | To create your account and send you your results. |
| Your quiz answers — vehicles, cash, savings, property, debts, income and job security | To calculate your net worth estimate and track it over time. |
| Optional detail you add later — car make and model, where money is invested, industry, suburb | To make the estimate more accurate. |
| Your state or territory | To apply local property growth rates. |
| Google account name, email and profile picture (only if you sign in with Google) | To identify you without a password. |
We do not ask for and cannot access your bank logins, account numbers, card numbers, tax file number, or any government identifier. Every figure in Heirloom is one you typed in yourself.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Heirloom produces modelled estimates using general assumptions — typical depreciation rates, published market and property growth, and average wage growth by industry. They are not a valuation, and they are not personal financial advice. We are not licensed financial advisers. Talk to a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
Your data is stored in our application database. Passwords are never stored in readable form — they are hashed using scrypt, a one-way function, so nobody (including us) can read them back.
We keep your account and its history until you ask us to delete it. Deleting your account removes your answers, your saved valuations and your contact details.
Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask us to:
Email privacy@heirloom.example and we'll action it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a privacy matter, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. It contains a random session identifier and nothing else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
